From points north of the District of Columbia
Take I-95 to 495 (Capital Beltway) to exit 30, Route 29 south toward Silver Spring. Follow Route 29 through downtown Silver Spring and cross Georgia Ave. until you reach the circle at the intersection of 16th St., NW. Turn left onto 16th St. Take 16th St. to Scott Circle bearing to the right to avoid the underpass. Turn right onto Massachusetts Ave. The center is one block down on the right. An optional route would be to take I-95 to 495 to exit 33 (Chevy Chase, Connecticut Ave.). Make a left at the exit onto Conn. Ave. towards Chevy Chase. Follow Conn. Ave. through Chevy Chase, Van Ness/UDC, Cleveland Park, Woodley Park, across the Taft Bridge and down towards Dupont Circle. Do not go under the tunnel; instead, turn left onto Q St. Go three blocks to 17th St. and turn right, then go two blocks to Massachusetts Ave. The center is on the corner of Mass. Ave. and 17th St.
From points south of the District of Columbia:

Take Rt. 66 into Washington. Go over the Roosevelt Bridge and follow the signs to Constitution Ave. Make a left turn onto 18th St., NW (there is a left turn arrow). Follow 18th St. through the city and across Connecticut Ave (you will need to be in the middle lane in order to cross Conn. Ave. and stay on 18th St. rather than veer left onto Conn. Ave.). Go one more block on 18th St. and you will come to Massachusetts Ave. Turn right onto Mass. Ave., go one block to 17th St., and the center is located on the corner of Mass. Ave. and 17th St.
From Alexandria, South Arlington, 495, 95, 395, and Route 1
Take I-495 or 95 to 395. Take 395 (or Rt. 1) over the 14th St. Bridge and follow the signs for 14th St., NW. Take 14th St. to Thomas Circle at M St. Get in the far right lane and take the outer circle 3/4 of the way around until you reach the turn off for Massachusetts Ave. (it is just one lane at first, alongside green railing over a tunnel - you will merge with Mass. Ave. traffic). Take Mass. Ave to Scott Circle at 16th St. and follow Mass. Ave. around the circle to 17th St. The center is located on the corner of Mass. Ave. and 17th St. An optional route would be to take 14th St. through Thomas Circle to P St. Turn left onto P St. and take P St. to 17th St. where you would turn left. The center is on the corner of 17th St. and Mass. Ave. This route would allow for more street parking options or to avoid traffic backed up on Mass. Ave.
